ACDC Electronics was the Advanced Component Design Corporation when it got its start more than 60 years ago. Emerson Electric Corporation acquired Advanced Component in 1974, turning it into a division now known as Emerson Network Power. ACDC has always been a brand heavily involved in the design and manufacture of linear power supply and loads systems. ACDC used to manufacture direct current electronic loads, test equipment, and a variety of switching power supplies. ACDC no longer makes switching power supply devices. Luckily, engineers can count on ValueTronics to sell used and refurbished switches and other products from ACDC.
