Agilent Technologies was a spin-off of Hewlett-Packard (HP). HP created Agilent to take over the brand’s test equipment division. Agilent manufactured oscilloscopes, analyzers, meters, power supplies, signal generators, and much more. As a top brand in the industry since 1999, and for decades before that with Hewlett-Packard, Agilent created some of the world’s most important test equipment. In 2013, Agilent created its own spinoff, Keysight Technologies, which has taken over the electronic measurement business. Agilent now makes products for the food, environmental, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, chemical and energy, and research markets.
