Ameritec

Ameritec Corporation was originally one of the seven Regional Bell Operating companies that came out of the court-ordered breakup of the Bell telephone system. Ameritec is responsible for the manufacture of products such as communication analyzers, test sets, and call generators. In 1999, SBC Communications acquired Ameritech Corporation, which was then a telecommunications company. SBC Communications then acquired AT&T Corporation in 2006, becoming the present-day AT&T Inc. After 30 years in business, Ameritec discontinued its line of test equipment products. However, any consumers who are still interested in purchasing high-quality used and refurbished Ameritec products can shop at ValueTronics.com.
