Wiltron was an electronic instrumentation company that began in 1960. Wiltron’s first products were for general-purpose applications, geared toward major companies involved in creating military products. At this point, Wiltron was a manufacturer of radar systems, microwave sweepers, and vector network analyzers, but the brand’s goal was to develop test equipment for the telecommunications industry. Wiltron soon became an international source of top-quality signal generators, analyzers, and other test equipment. In 1990, Anritsu acquired Wiltron and founded Anritsu Wiltron Pte. Ltd. in Singapore in 1994. Today, consumers can still buy Wiltron products by shopping for them used and refurbished on sites such as ValueTronics.com.
