An EMI receiver is a device that can measure several different characteristics of radio signals as well as calibrate radiofrequency (RF) attenuators and signal generators. Engineers use receivers with other pieces of electronic test equipment, such as calibrated antennas, to determine a broadcast signal’s strength and standards compliance as well as analyze RF interference. Used and refurbished EMI receivers can save engineers money during requirement compliance.
