The Bird 5000 operates over a broader frequency range than any Bird meter produced to date, covering 2 MHz to 3600 MHz (based upon element selection).

Coupled with the ability to measure True Average Power from 1 to 1000 Watts, the Model 5000 handles Cellular, PCS, AMPS, CDMA, GSM, TDMA, ISM, UMTS, 3G Wireless, WLL, Paging, Conventional/Trunked Radio, Aviation, Military, and Analog or Digital Audio and Television Broadcast.
