6071A Fluke RF Generator
The 6071A is a 1.04 GHz RF Generator from Fluke. An RF generator is a tool engineers use to generate sinusoidal outputs while testing electronic equipment. The output will automatically have its frequency varied or swept between frequencies. A “sweep” is one complete cycle of a frequency variation. Engineers use RF signal generators as test equipment, mostly to measure responses of filters, amplifiers, and electrical components.

Additional Features:
- Frequency range: 200 kHz to 1040 MHz frequency range
- Modulation: AM, FM
- Output Power: -140 dBm to +13 dBm
- Resolution: 1.0 Hz
- IEEE-488 interface and simple programming commands
- Measures selectivity, sensitivity, intermodulation distortion, AM rejection, AGC response, audio hum, noise and distortion, and SINAD ratio (on VHF and UHF receivers)
- Leveled output available from -140 dBm to +19 dBm (to 520 MHz), -140 dBm to +13 dBm (above 520 MHz)
- Non-harmonic spurious outputs: -90 dBc to -100 dBc to 520 MHz and -84 dBc above 520 MHz
The Fluke 6071A is an excellent choice for ATE systems offering the precision resolution and settability of a high-end synthesizer with the low-noise performance of a top-of-the-line signal generator. On VHF and UHF receivers you can measure selectivity, sensitivity, intermodulation distortion, AM rejection, AGC response, audio hum, noise and distortion, and SINAD ratio.
