8340B Agilent Sweep Generator
Used
The 8340B is a 26.5 GHz sweep generator from Agilent. A sweep generator is a tool engineers use to generate sinusoidal outputs while testing electronic equipment. The output will automatically have its frequency varied or swept between frequencies. A sweep is one complete cycle of a frequency variation. Engineers use sweep signal generators as test equipment, mostly to measure responses of filters, amplifiers, and electrical components.

Additional Features:
- Frequency Range: 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz with 1 to 4 Hz resolution
- Calibrated output: +10 dBm to -110 dBm
- Very low spurious and phase noise
- Provides Pulse, Amplitude, and Frequency Modulation
- Also functions as complete analog sweeper.
- Sweep range from 100 Hz to 26.5 GHz.
- Output Connector is APC-3.5 Male.
The Agilent 8340B Synthesized Sweep Generator combines the performance of a synthesizer and broadband sweep oscillator in one unit fully controlled via the HP-IB bus. The Agilent 8340B is ideal for both manual and automated testing applications.
