8648C Agilent RF Generator
The 8648C is a 3.2 GHz RF Generator from Agilent. An RF generator is a tool engineers use to generate sinusoidal outputs while testing electronic equipment. The output will automatically have its frequency varied or swept between frequencies. A “sweep” is one complete cycle of a frequency variation. Engineers use RF signal generators as test equipment, mostly to measure responses of filters, amplifiers, and electrical components.
- Frequency range: 100 kHz to 3.2 GHz
- Superior level accuracy
- Wide frequency and output power coverage
- Remote and memory interfaces for semi-automated testing
- Simple, dependable operation
The Agilent 8648C Signal Generator has a 9 kHz to 3.2 GHz bandwidth that is ideal for manufacturing high-volume products such as cordless telephones, pagers and two-way radios. The Agilent 8648C Signal Generator is designed for semi-automated receiver test, and a variety of general purpose applications. The Agilent 8648C Signal Generator starts with the basic capabilities of the Agilent 8647A, enhances residual FM, level accuracy and phase noise performance, offers optional pulse modulation and high power, and extends the frequency to 3.2 GHz. to any test procedure.
