The Rohde & Schwarz CRTC02 is an extremely powerful test set provoding all simulation and analysis capabilities from selected measurement of GSM900/1800 and 1900-specific RF parameters through to detailed checking for errors in the signaling protocol.
The Radio Communication Test Set simulates a base station (BTS, cell) with two independent radio channels in the R&S GSM900, R&S GSM1800 or R&S GSM1900 band. With this test set almost every GSM feature relavant for the communication between mobile and network can be tested.
This tester has set the standard in protocol testing in the GSM environment. It provides all kinds of capabilities from high level application support such as GPRS end-to-end data transfer down to detailed bit analysis on a single GSM burst.
