The Heidenhain VRZ 480 is designed as a table-top model. The collapsible stand permits the display to be tilted by 14° for easier reading. The chassis feet are provided with M5 threaded holes to permit the unit to be fastened to a base plate.
Several VRZ 400 series display units can be stacked on top of one another. The chassis rim and small protrusions on the top surface prevent the stacked units from sliding off.
