Weller’s WXUPS MS Smart Soldering iron has an ergonomic pencil design that fits perfectly to the operator’s hands for intensive soldering jobs requiring high thermal power for Led Soldering, Solar Technology, Electronic Components, Multi-Layer Boards, Large Heat Sinks and High-Frequency PCBs with large dissipaters.

The Weller WXUPS smart soldering iron has 150 W, 24 V, and covers almost all heavy-duty applications with large component sizes from 1612 and bigger (XL to XXL). This iron is for use with RTUS smart Soldering Tip Family and WXsmart Soldering Station. The heavy-duty Soldering Iron WXUPS uses Weller´s Active Tip Technology (cartridge) for an optimized heat transfer with 150W maximum power, 24V performance. 

The extremely fast 7-second heat-up time delivers excellent heat transfer and recovery time during the soldering process for a high-performance continuous workflow. Short tip-to-grip distance provides maximum precision during the soldering process. Thermal Core Technology provides 150 W power, delivering heat through the joint, even providing precisely soldered multilayer boards. Optimal sensor position close to the solder tip provides an excellent heat transfer, maximum power, and recovery time due.

Maximum Protection

The WXUPS (military standard) smart soldering irons & soldering tips are fully compliant with IPC industry standards (IPC - TM-650 2.5.33 Measurement of Electrical Overstress from Soldering Hand Tools) and are also MIL-SPEC compliant. This provides maximum protection to both the printed circuit board and components, achieving excellent results while keeping operating costs low.
