New and Used Meters and DAQ Systems
What is a DAQ system? Data acquisition (DAQ) is the process of using a computer to measure electrical or physical components such as current, voltage, pressure, sound, or temperature. DAQ systems collect information via sensors, measurement hardware, and a computer with software. DAQ sensors pick up and document information such as resistance, current, or other electrical phenomena that vary over time. The information is then logged into the computer, or the data acquisition system, for accurate, safe, and simple reading.
Meters are important for assessing physical and electrical components. Depending on your application, you will need to select a DAQ system that is appropriate for the type of signals you need to generate or measure.
